About This Site

Algarve Essence is a byproduct of Sierra Essence which has been operating for a number of years, (only since 2006 under its current name), and focusing primarily on the Ski & Mountain Tourism of the Sierra Nevada mountains and Granada region of Southern Spain.

Algarve Essence forms part of the fully registered company name of Sierra Essence Ski & Mountain Center 2006 S.L. and is licensed to operate as an intermediary agent for any accommodation and activity requirements.

For some time now, a small subdirectory of the Sierra Essence site has focused mildly on the Eastern Algarve area of Portugal. The Algarve Essence website is taking off where the Sierra Essence website left off in efforts to improve the general navegation of an already large and informative site by developing information on the various points of interest here including accommodation options and activities available to aid the visitor, (i.e. You), reach parts rarely visited by even the locals themselves.

This site was initially setup in June 2007, and the information within is constantly expanding from its current state. Please bear with us as quality and relevent information is gathered in the aim of providing a reliable portal to this wonderful area.
