ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTION:

The Praia Verde hotel is barely two years old and having spent almost a year without doing any business, the newly installed management have brought this modern and quite classy establishment back to life again.

Located just 1 kilometre from the touristic urbanisation of Altura and 5 kilometres from Monte Gordo. The beach, "Praia Verde", is locally deemed as one of the nicest stretches of golden sands found on the Algarve.

The general aesthetics of the hotel offer a neat and modernistic appeal within an extremely relaxing environment of mediterranean woodland.

The beach is a short walk down through the woodland from the hotel with the need for any transport.

All 40 rooms are of "Suite" style and nature comprising a combined lounge and dining area with a small kitchenette offering essential facilities for cooking and refrigeration. The sofa pulls out to make a large comfortable sofa-bed in the event of more than 2 people sharing.

The spacious bedroom is adjoined yet separate from the lounge area. A fully furnished bathroom is also separately located allowing for use by all room occupants.

All rooms lead out onto balconies with views over the surrounding woodland and/or sea.

The hotel has a computer with internet access for residing guests to use when required at no charge. WIFI is expected to be installed soon but as yet is NOT available.

Friendly staff command reasonable levels of English making for an even more comfortable stay.

Outside, the hotel provides a lovely sun terrace beside a large pool and a shaded area with summer bar for refreshments and snacks.
