ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTION:

Sobral de Baixo is one of the larger quintas, (farm) in the area surrounding the medieval village of Castro Marim. It covers approximately 70 hectares and currently produces mainly grapes and figs.

The accommodation provided at Sobral de Baixo is of typical southern Portuguese style and design. Additional facilities include well kept gardens and terraces and a fantastic 20m x 7,5m swimming pool.

Sobral de Baixo farmhouse & apartments are located on a small hill with excellent views all around over the nature reserve with its flamingos and salt flats, the quaint villages of Castro Marim & São Bartolomeu, across to Spain and it's "last" town, Ayamonte, up towards the hills inland and over to the coast and the more touristic areas of Monte Gordo and Vila Real de Santo Antonio. It is a superb spot for watching both the sunrise and the sunset.

The apartments have been converted from the original farm outbuildings. Four of them (2 ground floor and 2 first floor) are located around a pleasant gardened courtyard at the front of the complex with terrace and BBQ areas. Two apartments are located at the rear giving direct access from their terraces to the pool area and the last unit is a pretty stand-alone cottage with its own private garden and terrace.

T1 Sup	This 1-bedroom cottage stands alone from the other accommodation units with its own private garden & terrace areas. Rural views over the farmland and unbeatable sunsets. Living & dining area with adjoined kitchen. A double bed occupies the spacious bedroom and a full bathroom with jacuzzi bath, (1 person) is adjoined (not en-suite). Maximum sleeping capacity 4 people
T1	Two spacious 1-bedroom apartments, (ground-floor & first-floor), each with a full shower room, living area with adjoined kitchenette and american bar. Pool access is via the front of the main house. Maximum sleeping capacity 4 people per apt.
T2a	Two 2-bedroom apartments, (ground-floor & first-floor), one with a view to Castro Marim's Medieval Castle, full shower room, living/dining room with adjoined kitchen. Pool access is via the front of the main house. Maximum sleeping capacity 6 people per apt.
T2b	2-bedroom apartment overlooking the pool, (ground-floor), with it's own private terrace and access to the pool area, full shower room, living/dining room with adjoined kitchen. Maximum sleeping capacity 6 people
T3	A 3-Bedroom ground-floor house, (one of which comes with en-suite shower room), a large living/dining area with fireplace, separate full shower room and kitchen. It has a private terrace leading directly to the pool area. Maximum sleeping capacity 9 people.
