Monte Gordo

The Eastern Algarve's only indication of so-called "Mass Tourism" is found here at Monte Gordo. The small town lines the golden sand coast with several modern hotels, aparthotels and apartments.

A long promenade stretch, extensive beaches, friendly locals, plenty of bars & restaurants as well as it's very own Casino make this a great family destination whilst avoiding the busier tourist resorts found further along the Algarve coast.

The extensive woodland area surrounding the town, (known locally as "La Mata"), makes for peaceful shaded walking within very close proximity to your accommodation.

The beaches are perfectly groomed and cared for and the sea is crystaline. Stretching on towards Vila Real de Santo Antonio in one direction and Tavira in the other, beach strollers will find this a dream come true.
